    A lot of people have asked me about Spirals coming out on vinyl so I’m thrilled it’s finally here!

    The physical properties of a vinyl record as an object have always been very important to me. My dad’s collection really influenced me musically growing up and shaped the music I love and write.

    300 hand-numbered, limited edition records will be available on 3rd March, but if you PRE-ORDER a copy now I’ll send it out early so you’ll be the first to get it. I'll sign the record and send it out with a personal note.

    The vinyl record comes with a previously unreleased BONUS track that’s not on the CD. My cover of the iconic song Hurt by Trent Reznor, most famously re-interpreted by Johnny Cash at the end of his life, was recorded during the album studio sessions with producer John Reynolds (Sinead O’Connor, Indigo Girls).

This song is about the cycle of life and death through the generations that
expresses how I felt when my mother passed away. Until that point, I was a branch on the family tree, but as the surviving matriarch of the family, I became the tree.
I didn’t want to be but realised I had to be. It's about adapting to pain and loss through love. You may spiral down in grief but then you can find a way back by letting that loss flow through you.
