    A lot of people have asked me about Spirals coming out on vinyl so I’m thrilled it’s finally here!

    The physical properties of a vinyl record as an object have always been very important to me. My dad’s collection really influenced me musically growing up and shaped the music I love and write.

    300 hand-numbered, limited edition records will be available on 3rd March, but if you PRE-ORDER a copy now I’ll send it out early so you’ll be the first to get it. I'll sign the record and send it out with a personal note.

    The vinyl record comes with a previously unreleased BONUS track that’s not on the CD. My cover of the iconic song Hurt by Trent Reznor, most famously re-interpreted by Johnny Cash at the end of his life, was recorded during the album studio sessions with producer John Reynolds (Sinead O’Connor, Indigo Girls).

This song came out of feelings I remember having as a young girl, how sometimes the feeling of being sad can become a strange kind of comfort. It’s about fighting the dark forces within but at the same time inadvertently keeping them alive by embracing their familiar presence.
